About this directory

Tennessee has an enormous amount of Christian homeschool activity — co-ops meeting in church fellowship halls, university-model tutorials, hybrid schools two days a week, microschools of nine students, tutors who have taught the same Latin class for fifteen years. Almost none of it is listed anywhere a new family can actually find.

TNChristianHomeschools.com is a plain, searchable index of those programs, organized the way families think about them: by the metro area you'd realistically drive to, and by the kind of commitment the program asks for.

How listings get here

Programs are submitted by directors, parents, and members, then reviewed before publication. We check that the program exists, serves Tennessee families, and is what it says it is. We publish what programs tell us about themselves — grades, cost, format, faith background — and link to their own statements of faith wherever possible.

What a listing is not

A listing is not an endorsement, a doctrinal seal of approval, or a safety certification. Christian homeschool programs in Tennessee span a wide theological range and vary enormously in structure, supervision, and academic rigor. Read the statement of faith. Visit. Ask about background checks, child protection policies, and who teaches what. Make your own judgment.
